Camden Finance Partners managed client documents and portfolio updates over email — a slow, insecure workflow that made it hard for clients to find anything and hard for the firm to track who'd seen what.

THE CHALLENGE
Finance clients don't want another login to remember, and the firm couldn't afford a security misstep with sensitive documents. The portal had to feel effortless to log into, handle document access permissions correctly per client, and never once feel like 'enterprise software'.
WHAT I BUILT
A Next.js app with NextAuth single sign-on, role-based document access, and a live portfolio summary view pulling from the firm's existing data sources.
- 01Built single sign-on with NextAuth so clients log in without a new password to manage
- 02Set up role-based document permissions — each client sees only their own files
- 03Built a live portfolio summary view replacing static PDF reports
- 04Migrated the firm off email attachments entirely for sensitive documents
