THE CHALLENGE
Booking engines are unforgiving — real-time availability across four properties, date logic, room-type pricing, and a checkout flow that has to work flawlessly on a phone, since most bookings happen there. Getting this wrong means lost reservations, not just a bad review.
WHAT I BUILT
A Next.js frontend with a custom booking widget wired to a lightweight availability API, plus a CMS layer so the client's own team manages rooms, rates and property content without touching code.

- 02Connected the widget to a lightweight availability API shared across all four properties
- 03Set up a CMS layer so reception staff can update rates and room content directly
- 04Migrated bookings off the third-party aggregator entirely, removing the per-booking commission
